John Beard is the CEO and Founder of ARCHPRO Coding and Consulting, a division of Universal Medical and Compliance (UMC). He leads national and state-level partnerships focused on rural health education, coding and billing standards, and Medicare compliance. John is a subject matter expert in medical coding, auditing, and federal healthcare policy, and has helped shape accessible solutions for underserved healthcare providers. He lives in metro Atlanta with his family.

Gary Lucas oversees certification programs and eLearning operations at ARCHPRO Coding and Consulting. With 29 years of experience and over 1,900 seminars delivered, he specializes in clinical documentation, coding compliance, and healthcare training strategy. He previously consulted for federal agencies and the private sector, and holds a master’s in Health Informatics from UIC. Based in metro Atlanta, Gary enjoys live music, local eats, and time with his two sons.

John Burns brings over 25 years of experience in clinical documentation, coding accuracy, and healthcare compliance. At ARCHPRO Coding and Consulting, he leads documentation and coding reviews, delivers tailored audit services, and provides training to healthcare providers nationwide. An experienced instructor, John teaches key programs like the Rural Health Coding Bootcamp and E/M Documentation courses.
John began his career with The Medical Management Institute in 1995 and later founded Modern Conventions in Compliance, Inc. He also served as a Senior Consultant at Doctors Management before joining ArchProCoding in 2016. Based in North Georgia, John has worked in all 50 states and has been published in outlets such as Coding Alert, BC Advantage, and Part B News.

With over 35 years in healthcare, Jackie King has held clinical and leadership roles in rural hospitals, RHCs, and physician practices. Her experience spans HIM, ACO compliance, clinical informatics, and quality management. Jackie earned her Master’s in Health Informatics from the University of Illinois at Chicago and served as a leader at the Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network (ICAHN) and IRCCO ACO before launching her consulting firm in 2022. Since 2019, Jackie has been a consultant with ARCHPRO Coding and Consulting, where she develops and teaches the Critical Access Hospital Coding & Billing Boot Camp. Her focus includes documentation audits, education, and promoting best practices in rural healthcare. Based in Rock Falls, IL, Jackie is a nationally recognized speaker passionate about improving rural health systems.

Julia brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare education and professional development, specializing in instructional operations, event coordination, and learning management systems. As the Director of Education Operations at ARCHPRO Coding and Consulting, she oversees the planning and execution of all live and virtual training programs, manages LMS integration, and provides comprehensive IT support to ensure seamless course delivery for instructors and students alike.
Julia holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Information Technologies. Originally from St. Petersburg, FL, she now lives in Atlanta, GA with her partner and their two German Shepherds. She is also an active volunteer with the German Shepherd Rescue of Georgia.

Dawna brings over 20 years of experience working with students and academic institutions, with a strong background in support services and information management. As ARCHPRO Coding and Consulting Member Services Coordinator, Dawna assists students and certified professionals with membership, certification status, and course access, ensuring they receive timely and accurate support throughout their educational journey. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of South Florida and a Master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of Tennessee. Prior to joining ArchProCoding, Dawna served as an academic librarian, helping students achieve their research and learning goals. Originally from Ohio, Dawna grew up in Florida and now lives in Tennessee with her partner, four dogs, and a cat.

Ms. Howe has over 20 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, billing, coding, credentialing, and privileging, and documentation auditing with 10 of those years being in the FQHC Community. Ms. Howe's academic background includes a Bachelors in Business Administration (BA), Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) through the National Alliance of Medical Accreditation Services (NAMAS), a certified Community Health Coding and Billing Specialist (CH-CBS) by the ARCHPRO Coding and Consulting. Ms. Howe has successfully obtained NCQA CVO Certification for multiple organizations, scoring near perfect and perfect scores on these. [email protected]
