Telehealth Presenter 1: An Introduction to Telehealth and Telemedicine

Learning objectives: After attending the webinar, participants will be able to: 

  1. Differentiate between “Telehealth” and “Telemedicine.”
  2. List the 3 basic uses for Telehealth.
  3. List 3 benefits to using Telehealth.
  4. Differentiate between the “Hub and Spoke” and “Peer-to-Peer” Telemedicine Models.
  5. Screen for Behavioral Health concerns during a Telemedicine visit.

Telehealth Presenter 2: Facilitating a Telemedicine Visit with a Primary Care Provider

Learning objectives

After attending the webinar, participants will be able to: 

  1. Differentiate between telehealth technologies such “Synchronous” versus “Asynchronous” communication, “Live Video Conferencing,” “Store and Forward” and “Remote Patient Monitoring.”
  2. List 4 challenges of using telehealth.
  3. State 3 areas of potential for the use of telehealth

Telehealth Presenter 3: Facilitating a School Telemedicine Visit

Learning objectives

After attending the webinar, participants will be able to: 

  1. List the advantages of a school telehealth program.
  2. Discuss the importance of obtaining parental consent and medical history in the school telehealth visit.
  3. Discuss a potential workflow for a school telehealth visit.
